Alison Wright has been an English actress for over 20 years. The Americans is her most well-known character. For this, she received a Primetime Emmy Award and received much critical acclaim. The other roles she has played comprise the Ryan Murphy series Feud, Bette & Joan in Hollywood. Wright was adopted by her parents, was born Sunderland in the year 1976. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She was a student with her in New York City at The Barrow Group and at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. It was her job to waitress while she tried out for parts. She was scuba diving, a great hobby of hers after suffering a heart event at sea which left her in a in a coma. The family of her friend flew in to assist her at the hospital just six days after her death. Wright was born in Sunderland on the 12th of July in 1976. Her adoptive parents raised her there. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She studied in New York City at The Barrow Group and The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
